There are three ways you can volunteer at Milestone:

Become a Community Learning Mentor

Are you interested in hosting Milestone students at your workplace, community organization, or political office?

Students at Milestone spend part of every week learning in the community — whether that’s a site visit or a field observation with a group of students, or an internship or long-term volunteer opportunity on their own.

Become a Guest Instructor

Do you have knowledge and skills you want to share with youth, by partnering with one of our licensed teachers as a guest instructor?

Students and staff at Milestone design new classes together every term… and we always have proposals that we need experts to help lead. Guest instructors can propose classes or respond to student proposals.

Become a Friend of Milestone

Are you ready to commit to our community as a stakeholder and voting member?

Voting rights for all decisions at Milestone are protected for students, caregivers, staff… and community stakeholders who volunteer! Friends of Milestone participate in monthly membership decision-making, serve on our Board, and join Membership Circles to support the school.
